Today is the day after my first day back at work. It is 6 am and I am the only one awake. I had to stay up till midnight so Nicole could have milk and then get up a half hour ago to offer her some apple juice because after this there's no more food for awhile. She has her sedation appointment this morning.
I am horribly nervous. I hate sedation appointments. I don't want to go into all the details of why I hate it cause I'm trying to block it from my mind. I will deal with it when we get to the hospital.
All I pray for is that we get good news. I pray I pray and I pray. Is it ironic that today is St. Lucy's day? The patron saint of eyesight. Oh I hope it is a sign. Nicole has a little St. Lucy statue that was a gift and I hope and pray that she looks after my little girl and all of your little ones. If you've read my post Glaucoma Saga you know why I think she's been watching over my baby.
I hear Nicole stirring. Time to slowly get ready. I will post an update. But before I go I must tell you that the first day back at work went wonderful for the girls and their dad. He finished patching at 10am!!! WHAT THE!!??? Good work!! They were fed, the dishes were done, the room tidy and I actually got a warm meal and a coffee at work. So far so good!!
Glad to hear that your first day back was a success. A warm meal and coffee???? I am jealous. :) Maybe I need to go back to work.
ReplyDeleteI hope that the EUA brings good news... Thinking and praying for you and Nicole, well really your whole family.
Thank you Missy!! The best of work was sitting down and enjoying a hot coffee...and conversation with adults. LOL.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the prayers.
