Project 365 - Week 32

It's 9:30pm and we are leaving in the morning.  Like really early.  Like the flight is at 6:55am.  Who in their right mind would book a flight that early with 2 kids under 3...ugh.  This is our last week in Dubrovnik.  Hope you enjoyed sharing a bit of our vacation.  Back to the same old tomorrow.  So bittersweet.  We love it here but definitely miss home.  Adio Dubrovnik for this year!

Aug 6 - Yum Yum.  Pizza from El Toro covered in prosciutto.

Aug 7 - Enjoying her new boat.

Aug 8 - Fingerprint on lens but cute pic of great-grandma with her great-grandkids

Aug 9 - My grandmother. LOL.  She didn't want her picture taken.  Boy will I miss her.

Aug 10 - AKA Copabanana according to Lilia

Aug 11 - Saw my life flash before my eyes a few times on the road up here but well worth this picture! (Although we did choose to take the cable car down)

Aug 12 - Good bye gorgeous view...see you next time!

Project 365 - Week 31

We are having a blast albeit very exhausted.  Nothing like having a 10 month old that just wants to crawl around but has nowhere to do it! No carpet...just tile and stone.  Few bumps and bruises but she's ok.  Enjoying the walker though!  Starting to feel a little homesick but definitely not looking forward to the flights home...ugh.  I wish I could pull an I Dream of Jeannie and just be home in a blink!

July 30 - Hanging with my my brother and the kids

July 31 - Enjoying a cappucino on the beach.

Aug 1 - BBQ with her cousins.  The homemade fries were a hit.

Aug 2 - Fooling around at Bellevue Beach

Aug 3 - A swim on our daytrip to island Lokrum

Aug 4 - Just after going 49 metres under! Crazy!

Aug 5 - Happy 10 months baby girl!

Project 365 - Week 30

July 23 - I see a resemblance...do you?

July 24 - Nothing like playing in a summer rain shower.  I told her we could play in the puddles.  I didn't know the ground was so hot that there would be no puddles left!

July 25 - Yes, that's right...liverwurst in a tube.  And it tasted amazing!

July 26 - Thank God for the Ergo!

July 27 - Relaxing on the beach

July 28 - Yum, Yum.  Knegle.  Plums in the middle, covered in a potato dough, boiled, then lightly fried in buttered breadcrumbs. Heaven.

July 29 - The victim of an unsupervised toddler and some sidewalk chalk.

Hello from Dubrovnik!

I currently have 2 sleeping kids and a sink full of dishes but I just wanted to say a quick hello! We are basking in the sun here in Dubrovnik.  Four weeks have passed and I don't know where the time has gone! We have less than 2 weeks to go.  Patching has put a damper on many days but you will be proud that only one day has passed that Nicole didn't patch! Woohoo!  Tomorrow we plan to take a break and take a family trip to a local island for a nice day outdoors.  We did lose a lens on an evening out and since then try our best to get it out before we head somewhere.  Anyhow, I guess that's part of this whole package.
Unfortunately, Nicole has continued with refusing to stay with anyone except me or her dad which is extremely extremely frustrating and exhausting.  It's to the point that if a stranger even talks to her she bursts out crying.  Ugh.  We are hoping she outgrows this stage sooner than later!
I hear a child stirring so I better jump and get those dishes done quickly.
Hope everyone is enjoying their summer!
